I received my Bachelor's degree in Music Education from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio.  My Master's Degree is from Aurora University and is in Therapeutic Recreation.  I have taken doctoral course work in Adult Education from Northern Illinois University.

I taught music for several years in Ohio, Maryland and Wisconsin.  I taught at a small college outside of Chicago,Illinois for 16 years.  This is my ninth year teaching at Bill Arp.  Music is my passion, but it doesn't matter what I teach or who I teach or where I teach...I love teaching.  I feel blessed to have the opportunity to work with children as a teacher!

I was born in Sandusky, Ohio, but have lived most of my life in Chicago.  I moved to Georgia in 2005.  I don't miss the snow at all!!  My daughter Rachel and her family live near Chicago.  I have two grandchildren. Jackson is six and Mason is four.  My son, Aaron now lives in Georgia. This is my ninth year teaching at Bill Arp, and I love it!
