Bio

Hi, my name is Michal Demkowski.  I was born and raised in Austell, Georgia.  I am the youngest of three children.  My parents instilled in me that family is very important and to love life.  I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from Mercer University in June 1997. In 2004, I earned my Master's degree from Piedmont College.  Since I began teaching I have taught Pre-K, first and second grade here in Douglas County.

I have two beautiful children.  A daughter who is almost seventeen years old, attending high school here within the county and a son that is elevemn and now in middle school. We enjoy spending time together.  Outside of our home we are very busy traveling around the state to watch my daughter play travel soccer.  During basketball season my son keeps us busy watching him play.  We also attend church weekly and participate in different church activities.  I must say my children keep me on my toes and I love every minute of it.

In my spare time I enjoying reading novels by James Patterson,  relaxing, and taking pictures of my children.   In the summer I enjoy going to the beach or to the mountains.  Watching my kids at the beach is the best!  My favorite food is Mexican.  My favorite snack is a yummy Hostess Cupcake with a glass of milk.

I am very down to earth and I just go with what life gives me.  I guess you can say that is why I became a teacher.  I am very excited to be teaching a wonderful age of students!  I am always willing to help students to do their best and help parents in any way that I can.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
