Bio

Ms. Stone is a native of Louisiana.  After a six year tour with the United States Navy , she moved to Virginia in 1994.  While in Virginia,  she attended the University of Mary Washington College.  She obtained a bachelor's degree in Education with a minor in Biology.  She has a daughter who was born in historical Fredericksburg, Virginia.  One year later, mother and daughter moved to Georgia.   In 2002, she was nominated and was runner up for Teacher of the Year in Douglas County, Georgia.  In 2007, Ms. Stone earned her Master in Education from Central Michigan University.  This will be my 25st year of teaching and I have loved every minute of it.
